Tell me something interesting about yourself. (Fun Fact!)

Have you always been creative? What did you want to be when you were young?

I’ve always been a creative growing up, I remember when I would doodle random drawings on my desk at middle school. Always having that need to find an outlet to pour my creativity on to, letting the art take me wherever it goes, letting it flow in whichever direction.s

How did you get into photography?

My passion for photography started pretty natural I would say, back when Instagram was viewed more as a social media for photos. I began to develop a knack in wanting to take aesthetic photos for my IG page and so I started taking photos on my iPhone and it gradually changed from there.

What have you done that you’re most proud of?

My proudest moment I would say is getting to see my work progress over the years, compared to what it is now.

What’s your favorite thing to photograph?

That’s a pretty hard question. Lol I shoot whatever speaks to me. Your surroundings can be a canvas to many subjects you may find appealing.

What/who inspires you?

I have many influences and inspirations that transpires in my work but I would say the artists who inspires me the most is Keith Haring.

Does being Hispanic influence your work at all? If so, how?

I wouldn’t say being Hispanic influences the main foundation of my work. I’m influenced by many things that shows in my photography. It’s important as an artist like myself to show diversity in ones work.

What’s your process like? (Take me through your creative process)

When I pick up my camera I always want to try and capture subjects that are interesting. I want to tell a story that connects with others living in the same community as me.

Favorite piece of equipment?

My fav piece of equipment I’m currently using is the sigma art lens 1.8 50mm. Perfect for portraits and street photography!

Favorite photographer?

Favorite photography right now is mark goes by @mark.c on Instagram. Powerful work.

Any words of wisdom for aspiring photographers?

My words of wisdom for aspiring photographers in the world is to take your time get a feel of what works for you remember that there’s no rules to this you can create your style of photography however you want it to be. Try to find what speaks to you when you pick up a camera. It’s about what you perceive and how you can turn it into art of your own.
